B&B has no plans to raise prices!
B&B Theatres announce extensive, multi-million dollar
recliner remodel and at B&B Theatres Shawnee 18 in Shawnee,
B&B Theatres is pleased to announce that preliminary work will soon begin on the first phase of a comprehensive remodel of its theater location in Shawnee, located in the Westglen development at Midland Drive. The theatre will remain open while work begins in select auditoriums but will close in late September when lobby work begins. Plans would be close the theatre for a few weeks during the lobby and exterior renovation with plans to reopen by late October. Watch our Facebook page for weekly progress.
Multiple improvements are scheduled to begin this week on the original twelve screens including full-scale seat replacements! Aging static seats will be removed to make way for luxury electric, leather, reclining theater chairs. A new point-of-sale software was recently installed, the implementation of which will enable reserved seating in the new recliner auditoriums. Additionally, the software allows guests to participate in the B&B Theatres Backstage Pass Loyalty Program, a rewards system through which repeat guests can earn discounts on tickets, concessions, and other great promotions. The good news for customers is that they will enjoy all of the new amenities for the same low prices…B&B has no plans to raise prices!
Lobby renovations include a new snack bar, a self-service Pepsi & butter bar, updated rest rooms, new signage, carpet, and a new décor that will realigning the lobby with the B&B brand. Other plans include a comprehensive overhaul of the exterior of the building including a new parking lot, updated landscaping and an updated external façade bringing a new polish and shine to the wonderful Shawnee theatre.

B&B Theatres has been family owned and operated since 1924 when Elmer Bills Sr. opened a movie house in Salisbury, Missouri where the future Mrs. Bills played the piano for silent movies.
