Emily Dix is a Kansas City native with a life-long love of music and singing; she is new to the music and jazz community here. She met Brandon Day and Alan Voss via a serendipitous Craigslist connection. These two musicians mentored her and gently introduced her to performing live jazz, which has been a source of great joy and the fulfillment of a childhood dream. The Emily Dix Collective assembled in August of 2018.

Fellow musicians that contribute to the collective ensemble include Brandon Day (upright bass), Alan Voss (guitar and drums), Matt Villinger (piano), Michael Martin (piano), Ethan Ridings (guitar), Paul Shinn (piano), Brian Steever (drums) and Rod Fleeman (guitar).

Headliner Emily Frost is a versatile singer, composer, actor and recording artist whose vocal leanings are toward jazz and alternative rock music and leans delightfully toward jazz standards.
